July 16, 2020 0 Comments

Indians are finding job opportunities all over the world in different industries in many major roles or in the labor recruitments in industries, construction companies, skilled labor, professional majors, service oriented professionals all these have huge demand in the Abroad.

The flow of the human resources is pledged with the development of the both countries’ economies, as the parent country gets the tax returns and the recruiting country gains sufficient talented human resources.

With the advent of a quick contagious disease which is being fatal in some cases leading to the death of many, a global shut down has taken place across many countries affected by the Corona virus, leading to corona pandemic which is known to be prevalent in the whole countries or the world.

  • The corona virus pandemic has not just created a medical emergency but also an employment crisis across the countries. With the sudden lock down and the economic imbalances might be leading to layoffs in almost every sector.
  • 136 million jobs are at risk in post-corona India, as the industries from small scale to large scale industries, service sectors come to complete halt to fight the pandemic.
  • There will be a millions of job losses for employees who don’t have a regular salary, people without a written contract. These employees are mostly skilled labors and migrant workers who don’t have particular tasks for particular period of time. All these workers are not allowed to move from one place to another due to lockdown and so wise, they lose job opportunities from many lockdown firms.
  • A labor market crunch right now can easily turn into a nightmare. Besides the possibility of social unrest, expect more demands for more reservations in government. Once these workers are jobless and penny less, they cling to depend on the third shoulder which is the government, and government tend to provide minimum resources and needs to these workers will send money in to the market through reservations increasing burden on already a weak economy.
  • According to a report by the Press Trust of India, about 400 million people working in the informal economy in India are at risk of falling deeper into poverty due to the coronavirus crisis which is having “catastrophic consequences”, and is expected to wipe out 195 million full-time jobs or 6.7 percent of working hours globally in the second quarter of this year, the catastrophic consequences are the era for a disastrous events such like that  might be including stock market crashes or the unemployment, layoffs, economic imbalances, decrease in the export and import of goods. Lets Us Talk About Countries: –

Let’s talk about India, Its growing population, Job market and how Indians find jobs in Abroad.

India’s 2018 population is estimated at 1.35 billion, India is located in South Asia, is bordered by the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, and is also bordered by the countries of Pakistan, Bhutan, China, Nepal, Myanmar (formerly Burma), and Bangladesh. India is the world’s 7th largest country by area and the 2nd most populous country with more than 1.3 billion residents. India’s population is growing day by day and the Government of India is yet to find ways to control it. Even though midst of many issues, India stands as the most fast developing country and also is known for its rich traditions and cultural heritage.

India is a leading exporter of many items and the top 5 commodity exports are Refined Petroleum, Rice, Aluminum, and Raw Sugar. Many other main exports include un-mounted diamonds, cotton yarn, automobile parts or accessories, medication mixes in dosage, jewelry, and many more.

With the effect of pandemic of corona virus in many countries at large, countries like United States, United Arab Emirates, China and Hong Kong which are the major exporting countries of India, would certainly show a catastrophic changes in its economy. As due to lockdown all over the countries banning the international airlines and shipments will lockdown the cargo in their native places only.

It doesn’t stop here, its major implementation are seen in the internal parts of India on its states, where large and big industries are set up which are now in the hands of lock down and taking massive blows for closing down for weeks together. This lead to the unemployment for the migrant labors and many skilled labors, while the government of India is taking a large no. of initiatives for these labors by implementing welfare programs to fulfill minimum basic needs.

Positive Effect on the Economy of India.

Positive Effect on the Economy of India.

India had stepped into 2020 with lower growth projections on the economic front after several quarters of snail-paced GDP growth. And now, the corona virus pandemic has further turned matters gloomy. International rating agency Fitch has slashed India’s GDP growth rate projections for 2020-21 to 0.8 per cent. Brian Coulton, chief economist at Fitch Ratings, said, “The world GDP is now expected to fall by 3.9 per cent in 2020, a recession of unprecedented depth in the post-war period.”

Last week, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had announced that India, like the rest of the world, will be impacted by the deadly Covid-19 that has killed more than 1.8 lakh people across the globe as of April 23 afternoon, including close to 700 in India. Corona virus infections have confined almost 4 billion people to their homes worldwide and forced industries to halt production to prevent community spread.

India emerged as the world’s fastest-growing major economy. The government of India has been taken many major incentives, like foreign direct investment, which is also called FDI in India is a major monetary source for economic development in India. Foreign companies invest directly in fast-growing private Indian businesses to take benefits of cheaper wages and changing business environment of India. The Government of India has amended FDI policy to increase FDI inflow.

In 2014, the government increased foreign investment upper limit from 26% to 49% in the insurance sector. It also launched Make in India initiative in September 2014 under which FDI policy for 25 sectors was liberalized further. Manufacturing has emerged as one of the high growth sectors in India. Increase of FDI limit by the Indian government has lead to great growth in its industrial and also service sectors.

Note:  In 2020 With the advent of pandemic of COVID-19 , the Indian companies are in the financial distress, so the India’s Department for promotion of industry and Internal trade has revised its foreign direct investment (FDI) policy in order to restrict the foreign investment in misusing the financial weakness of the Indian companies.

The amendment to India’s FDI policy now is about the requirements producing that any investment from a country that share a border with India has to proceed through the Government of  India.

India’s 6 sectors driving the country’s growth, those Industries like infrastructure, Construction, Financial Services, Information Technology, Automotive, and the healthcare facilities are also employed for more Indians.

Their number has gone up from a not too modest 1,511 colleges in 2006-07 to an astoundingly high 3,345 in 2014-15. The state of Andhra Pradesh alone has more than 700 colleges and In India 1.5 Million Engineers Pass out Every Year. India produces 25% of engineers in the world every year and the highest number of unemployable graduates in the world.

As many as 97 percent’s of graduating engineers want jobs either in software engineering or core engineering. However, only 3 percent have suitable skills to be employed in software or product market, and only 7 percent can handle core engineering tasks. According to the HRD ministry, India has 6,214 engineering and technology institutions which are enrolling 2.9 million students. Around 1.5 million engineers are released into the job market every year. But the dismal state of higher education in India ensures that they simply do not have adequate skills to be employed.
